Special Needs: Columbine Classes
At Precizion 509 we pride ourselves in offer multiple class
options for all ages and all skill levels.
Columbine classes are adaptive classes for children with disabilities that are taught at quieter gym times and with a smaller coach to child ration of 1:5.
Children under the age of four may be considered for mainstream preschool 3-4.5 classes or our Parent & Tot program for 1-3 year olds.
Columbine 4-7
Special Needs gymnastics class are one hour long and each class may run different depending on the athletes enrolled.
Some broad categories that attend are:
A) Autism
B) Down Syndrome
C) Deafness
D) Hearing Impairment
E) Intellectual Disability
F) Orthopedic Impairment
It is important you fill out the profile form when signing up. Spend some time talking to the coaches about your child and how we can best instruct them.
If you want to pay or have insurance or other grants pay for the class, you can start right away (once class opens). If you want to take advantage of the sponsorship project, just let us know. We have to give you the 'ok' and fund your class from another account.
Advanced Urban Gym
UG Boys and Girls 6-9 introduces boys and girls to the fundamental skills, concepts, and body shapes of gymnastics. It also introduces Urban GymTM curriculum to the children, teaching them similar concepts from gymnastics in a non-traditional way.
Our Advanced class is invite only, and will focus on higher level progressions in Parkour, tricking, and free running.
