Junior Olympic Coaches
JO Head Coach
I’m Sam! I’ve been involved with the sport of gymnastics for over 20 years. I started at the age of two in “Mommy & Me” classes and started competing at the age of seven. I competed through level 10 and was going to college on a scholarship before an injury derailed that dream. No worries, I continued on with my love for the sport and started coaching at the age of 16! I’ve been coaching now for ten years and have fallen even more in love with the sport, if that’s even possible! I am also a USA gymnastics certified judge! I can’t get enough of this sport.
Sam's role is divided into four unequal parts: Coach, Leader, Manager, and Director.
Coach: directly responsible for the training and development of our JO optionals.
Leader: directly responsible for coach development within the JO program.
Manager: directly responsible for JO administrative tasks and internal/external communication.
Director: oversees curriculum development and partners with Gymnastics Director for program direction.
